Australian promotion film wins the tourism festival

Australia triumphs. Spot „Be Consumed” promoting the region of Barossa Valley was considered the best tourism advertising film of the year 2014 on the Festival of festivals in Vienna.

– An advertisement that appeared in major TV stations worldwide, has been an important element in the massive growth of tourism in the Barossa Valley. Tourists wanted to see by themeselves the special taste of life shown in the spot – explained Australian Tourism Minister Leon Bignell in an interview for the Australian Times. Now famous Barossa Valley Australia attracts tourists coming to Australia to see the rest of the country.

The advert, which was created in a local Australian agency KWP, used Australian song – Nick Cave’s „Red Right Hand”. Almost two-minute video shows the idyllic and delicious life on the farm, juicy fruits, rows of vineyards and joyful faces of people satisfied with life.

The commercials which are shown at the festival in Vienna has already gained recognition and were awarded at other festivals. For spot advertiser Barossa Valley, Vienna Grand Prix is already the eighteenth prize. Australian commercial was appreciated so far in eleven countries.
