The airline will fly between Bydgoszcz and Frankfurt from March 2015. In doing so, the airline will be connecting its hubs in Frankfurt and Munich with nine cities in Poland.
The route will be flown on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with an Embraer 190 by Lufthansa CityLine, which has a total of 100 seats in Business and Economy Class. LH 1382 leaves the Lufthansa hub at 10.55 a.m. and arrives in Bydgoszcz an hour and 30 minutes later, at 12.25 p.m. The return flight, LH 1383, lands in Frankfurt at 2.45 p.m. These times are ideal for transfer flights within the airline’s German and international network.
– Lufthansa has the most extensive route network in Poland of any European carrier. With Bydgoszcz, we now fly some 240 times a week from our hubs in Frankfurt and Munich to nine cities in Poland. This makes us the clear market leader on connections between Germany and our neighbour to the east – says Kay Kratky, member of the Lufthansa German Airlines Board, Operations & Hub Frankfurt.
In addition to flights to Bydgoszcz, Lufthansa will also be offering non-stop connections to Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lublin, Poznan, Rzeszow, Warsaw and Wroclaw in summer 2015.
